Which Lens and why?

Hello

I am planning on shooting some indoor sports (hockey areas and indoor highschool gyms) this winter and wondered which lens I should pick up. I already have the Nikon 70-200 f/2.8VR which is great for outdoor use, but likely wont cut it indoors. I also have the 60mm f/2.8 but suspect I need something faster, especially for venues with poor lighting

So my two choices are:

1) Nikon 50mm f/1.4 ?
2) Nikon 85mm f/1.8 ? (the 1.4 is out of my price range right now)

Which one would you recommend and why?

Thanks

Luigi

    I think you'll find the 70-200 a capable lens.

You don't say which body you'll be using. That might affect your decision as to which lens to buy.
