Pueblo Church Interior

This is the interior of the church at tiny Picuris Pueblo, about 15 miles southeast of Taos, NM. Many of the pueblos don't allow photography at all in ther villages and almost none allow photography in their churches, so I jumped at this chance.

This an HDR image made from 3 exposures taken from a 5 exposure series. The light was tough. Strong light coming in from the right of the nave and from my right, behind and above. Usually I find more exposures are better, but I was getting wierd artifacts and harsh banding trying to merge all five. This worked the best and still needed quite a bit of massaging to hide the bands.
