    I like how I can see the puck in all of them... well, except the first one, obviously... :)

    I shoot for media outlets, so they generally like the puck, unless I am shooting some behind the play or some player looking for some "explination" from the ref.
    Plus generally if you follow the puck all game you get all the good action....like goal scoring and stuff. People tend to like that. :)

    I shoot soccer, so I know what you mean... they tend to like the ball in the frame...

    Well and if you follow the ball, puck, whatever you know you are following the action, so increases the chances of getting those peak action photos. If I was doing youth sports, I certainly would more heavy on the isolated, but shot for two online media outlets, which in some ways is harder because they still want the isolated (may go with a story at anytime), game action shots, and general atmosphere (to go with the galleries). Hard to shoot with all those different and diverse purposes.
