Swamp Thangs

Went down to the swamp this morning and got bitten by the mozzies something chronic..

Luckily I got a couple of reasonable shots before i had to hightail it outa there..
Next time i am taking the Aerogard.

1. Unknown bug, can't ID.. very weird.

2. This spider had a three-spiked bum and kept pointing it at me.

    Nice captures Steve.
    It must be the time for the wierd ones to come out I reckon.
    That first one is a strange looking thing, although I hate to think of what they say when they look up and see our ugly mugs.

    There sure are some bizarro insects coming out of the woodwork.
