New lens arrived yesterday :)

My Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro USM arrive yesterday so I went for a wander on my lunchbreak today. This really is a cracking bit of glass!

Canon 430EX II, Nikon SB24, Konig stand, Stofen omnibounce, 33" brolly, DIY beauty dish + diffusers.
Misc: UV+CPL filters, reverse mount adapters, Velbon tripod. Photoshop CS3

    Excellent start with the new lens - think macro lenses put many canon L lenses to shame :)

    Yep that Canon 100mm f/2.8 is one sweet lens.

    Beautiful examples of it's capabilities you've shared with us too.

    The other nice thing about the Canon 100 is that you are not restricted to using it just for MACRO use.

    Granted it's not the most exciting picture but there are very few things around the office that are of any interest at all and I think this has a nice abstract quality to it!
