Played around last night -- finally figured out how to custom WB my camera.

Couple of ideas:

1. Yuletide Greetings at 1/36" scale.

2. Found! (What have I got in my pockets?)

#1 is flat-out charming! You have good DOF and the way you framed that shot really draws the viewer into the scene. thumb.gif

The concept of #2 is good, but my eye just wanders throughout the photo looking for a place to "land". ne_nau.gif

Thanks for your kind responses. I've submitted my entry, unless I change my mind again between now and contest close.

Once again I was forced to learn things about my camera -- custom white balance, manual focus, etc. that I would not normally have spent time thinking about!

headscratch.gif Somehow I get the sneaking suspicion that's what these SOOC challenges are all about: teaching us to use features of our camera we normally don't spend time thinking about. lol3.gif
