These shots were around a location ~100km northwest of Beijing beyond the mountain range of Badaling. It was a beautiful Autumn day approximately six weeks ago. The equipment was a D300 and a 24-70 and 70-200 2.8 lens.

On topic, I am quite surprised that this landscape looks so much like what I think of for the American midwest, too. Gorgeous! One thing I love so much about China is just so many different kinds of climates and landscapes you have all in one (big) country. Thanks for sharing!
