Pathfinder, as usual, very nice images!
That mushroom brought back some fond memories from the midwest. Hunting mushrooms was just part of our life in the spring. I remember one time in particular, maybe 45 years ago, my parents took us mushroom hunting. We were walking along a path on the side of a hill when I spied one. When I bent over to pick it, there was another about 6 inches from it.

I will never forget, as I picked the second, I looked up the side of the hill and saw maybe a hundred or more! I dropped to my hands and knees and started picking as I crawled up the hill. We picked 1/2 a grocery bag in that one spot. I never remember finding that many in that spot or any other again.

    Thanks, for the memories!

I wondered if you maybe were from the midwest - the Left Coasterrs and Right Coasters may not see morels that much. Your memory is very nice - We were not that fortunate yesterday - just found a few - one of which I had the presence of mind to photgraph. Was just a nice day to be in the woods... My wife really is the mushroom hunter, I was just the gun bearer...

I still remember the taste! Roll 'em in egg and flower then put them in the deep fat fryer until done. I just doesn't get any better than that!

    Enjoy one for me!

Here is my woodsy subject. I was an accidental effect, but I think a neat one. What do you think, art or just a blurry picture?3797587-M.jpg

Found this guy near my tent Saturday. I picked him up and moved him somewhere safer in hopes that it wouldn't get squished by other campers.

The next day, we had a half dozen of them on the tents early in the morning (a new batch hatched from the trees overhead?)

Another nice one. Mighty fine background blur, too.
