Stock photo list?

Anyone have any links to example stock photo lists? I am looking for a general list of what a budding photographer might/should have. Kind of a comprehensive list of various subjects to have in your library. I plan to use it to challenge myself to get those photos and hopefully build up my stock and portfolio at the same time.

I saw a list in a book the other day (don't remember which one now!), but can't find one online for some reason. Perhaps I am using the wrong search string?
