Opinion Needed Color or B&W

Would appreciate your guys/gals opinion on what works for this shot color or B&W. B&W was not converted but shot in monochrome setting. The lighting was so bad even with a polarizer the sky was starting to get blown out. Very little PP little curve adjustment and crop.

I think the BW is much more powerful.

B/W excels at showing textures. This photo has alot of textures in it
so it would be perfect for B/W. Add a tad of contrast boost and you
are good to go. The hardest thing about B/W is not the conversion
but knowing when to use B/W in a photo. Think textures and you can't
go wrong.

Not much color in the first image really.

I agree that textures, shapes, shadows, graphic outlines, render better in B&W usually.

I prefer the B&W here also!

definitely BW. maybe add a little more contrast.

Thanks guys/gals for all your input I really appreciate your suggestions. going to experiment around with HDR and the Orton Effect on the B&W and see what I can come up with.

The choice is clear here: B&W. Often, I find that when an image doesn't have much color to begin with that B&W is usually better. Such is the case here.
