Opinion Needed Color or B&W

Would appreciate your guys/gals opinion on what works for this shot color or B&W. B&W was not converted but shot in monochrome setting. The lighting was so bad even with a polarizer the sky was starting to get blown out. Very little PP little curve adjustment and crop.

so it would be perfect for B/W. Add a tad of contrast boost and you
are good to go. The hardest thing about B/W is not the conversion
but knowing when to use B/W in a photo. Think textures and you can't
go wrong.

I agree that textures, shapes, shadows, graphic outlines, render better in B&W usually.
I prefer the B&W here also!
