PS CS2: no oscillating healing brush anymore

As probably many others, I was using "auto rotating" healing brush in CS (following the excellent tip by Scott Kelby).
The trick was to use narrow angled brush, which would automatically oscillate.
Well, here's the bad news: not anymore. In CS2 this feature is not present.

I contacted NAPP tech support and got a confirmation on it. They suggested simply using smaller values for hardness.
Taking into account the excellent job CS2 does in blending/noise removal/etc, I think it will do (I tried it and it worked), but I guess I'm gonna miss the old trick:-)

Just FYI..

Can you tell me in which Scott Kelby book was the technique published?

I've first saw it in Photoshop CS Bokk for Digital Photographers (great book for starters!).
Then I think I also saw it in his "Killer tips".
