It looks like you might need to look at the pic with a levels layer tweeked to see that your black background did not match your black brush strokes. So bring up a levels layer and change the 255 to something like 10, and you'll see where your black brush strokes are darker than your background. Its very obvious on my monitor that you have brushed away a few things around her hair and arm.
You might be able to fix it by moving the black level from 0 to something in the range of 6-10. Then maybe brush away some of these adjustments on your subject.
Ok it's back. Sorry everyone, I took it down to try and fix it. Not sure what happened other then using two different monitors. I noticed the ugliness that was mentioned with the background once I got home. I am back on the computer that I used the first time but tried to adjust the colors...I hope that helps.
I dunno , there is just something not right about it for me. It looks as though her head is not "her head". The PP looks like you cut/pasted, and it seems still underexposed to me, and her hand placement under her chin looks uncomfortable.

To be honest, it was not a 'set up' photo. I was messing with the camera and she looked over at me. So even though the hand placement may look uncomfortable, I can assure you it's her normal way of sitting It looks uncomfortable to me as well

Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular.
Why do people post their equipment in their sig. Isn't it kind of like bragging? That having been said...
