Hey Gus, no worries. It was a funny comment and you look kinda cold. I empathise on the beanie front as I run a razor over my head every other week.

Cold Canberra winters are almost here... lordy yes. Got my beanie ready...

Happy snap taken on a cold winter's day in Canberra. That beanie's going to get a workout this year.

Very beautiful area of Oz... and you can still swim in the sea that far up if I'm not mistaken (maybe not now - but then again my partner was swimming at the Merimbula beach on the south coast last weekend... the water was fine.)

We're currently looking at property down around the Kangaroo Valley ( http://www.kangaroovalleytourist.asn.au/ ) area. Been dreaming of a 10-100+ acre property to grow organic (our house is fully organic... not certified but we've found the occasional frog in the kitchen).

I paint and my partner studies/practises alternate therapies (bowen, reiki, bach, yoga et al). I'd love to set up a medicinal herb farm and see my days out tending fields of echinacea et cetera while living the art (painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, music). Our farm-born border collie and cat would love the space to roam as well.

Big caveat: I don't trust the weather patterns right now. Around 2016 it'll be different but now... well, let's just say I don't want to get too close to the coastline. Not reacting to the recent tsunami's... knew they were on their way about 10-15 years ago. The writing's been on the wall for hundreds of years.

Anyway... to quote Bladerunner: Cold, yes... freezing.

Did i use the 10-22 ginger ? You better believe i did. It is a great lens.

It sat in my pocket the whole time & went on & off the camera every 10 mins or so....i shot maybe 200-300 shots with it. But maam i'm sorry ....i am processing as fast as i can go (only 256 meg ram..so my computer chews each mouthfull vvvery slowly converting RAW to Jpeg) & then i need to upload to smugmug so in all honesty im maybe a few days away of posting anything.

Ive got a lot with it.

    Gus
