Happy snap taken on a cold winter's day in Canberra. That beanie's going to get a workout this year.
Those were a great set of shots Andy. It has been great putting faces to names!

Jebus this guy is deadly isn't he ? You just keep this in mind if you go to the next shootout & he whips out that f/1.2 or what ever it is !
.
Very neatly done, Andy, thanks a lot!
We're currently looking at property down around the Kangaroo Valley ( http://www.kangaroovalleytourist.asn.au/ ) area. Been dreaming of a 10-100+ acre property to grow organic (our house is fully organic... not certified but we've found the occasional frog in the kitchen).
I paint and my partner studies/practises alternate therapies (bowen, reiki, bach, yoga et al). I'd love to set up a medicinal herb farm and see my days out tending fields of echinacea et cetera while living the art (painting, photography, sculpture, drawing, music). Our farm-born border collie and cat would love the space to roam as well.
Big caveat: I don't trust the weather patterns right now. Around 2016 it'll be different but now... well, let's just say I don't want to get too close to the coastline. Not reacting to the recent tsunami's... knew they were on their way about 10-15 years ago. The writing's been on the wall for hundreds of years.
Anyway... to quote Bladerunner: Cold, yes... freezing.
Thanks to OneThumb lending me his 'pre-warmed' mitten looking things

Andy, thanks so much for all the people. I love the people. Can we have a gallery of the people?
It sat in my pocket the whole time & went on & off the camera every 10 mins or so....i shot maybe 200-300 shots with it. But maam i'm sorry ....i am processing as fast as i can go (only 256 meg ram..so my computer chews each mouthfull vvvery slowly converting RAW to Jpeg) & then i need to upload to smugmug so in all honesty im maybe a few days away of posting anything.
Ive got a lot with it.
