Gallery Sorting Issue

Hello Everyone,

I am pretty new to Smug Mug and am having an issue with sorting galleries within categories. I want to sort my galleries by reverse name order:

2008 - 11/25 Football
2008 - 11/16 Soccer
2008 - 11/12 Volleyball

This works fine until I add a new gallery. If I add a new gallery named: 2008 - 11/29 Soccer, it will show up at the bottom of the page and I have to manually go in and arange the category again.

Am I doing something wrong or does this have to always be done manually?

Welcome to Dgrin

Usually takes me about 2-3 times before the sort will stick. But lately what's
working for me is select the added gallery and use the left arrow to move it
to the top and it sticks. Maybe bumping by the others wakes the sort.:D

Btw, I like it popin' in at the end, can find it easily. Or start would also be nice.

Thanks for the quick response... but I'm still a little unclear. I tried your suggestion several times without success (my new galleries still show up at the bottom). Am I understanding you correctly that my sort selection should work, just the Smug Mug softwear is not working correctly? I have a large number of galleries and categories to update on a daily basis and really don't have the extra time to go in and manually update the display order every time. Are all of the event photographers using Smug Mug having to do this?
