After looking at Jeff Meyers' Compton Hill Water Tower post (http://www.digitalgrin.com/showthread.php?t=112993) I thought I'd go and shoot a similar water tower in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

This is a BW conversion of an HDR rendering. I tried to get the most out of the overcast sky and bare trees.

Gorgeous and softly dreamy! The desolation comes through in the trees and the clouds. This shot reminds me a bit of a medieval tower thumb.gif

Thanks Schmoo. Originally (several years ago) I didn't know what it was then was surprised to hear it was a water tower. I believe it is still in use as such.
