Give me any tips or comments on the lighting for some santa pictures we did last night. These were done for our local fire departments open house.

Thanks.

    I've seen worse....but

-Get the wrinkle out of the backdrop.
-Get Santa farther from the backdrop and throw it a little out of focus.
-This appears to be shoe mounted flash...with the camera rotated. There are shadows above their heads which is a very "un-natural" place for shadows to be. The light really needs to be located higher in relation to your subjects. If shoe mounting is your only option, you need to bounce it to kill those shadows....or raise the camera a tad above their eye level and shoot slightly down towards them.

I'm no pro, but I would have positions the girl a little differently - sit her on his lap instead of having him hold her up.
