    Those colors and the sharpness make this photo look unreal...

    Your pelicans are so different than ours -- I've seen other Australian pelicans (photos) and they are great to photograph.

    Thanks all. Pelicans are such a photogenic bunch and usually are very approachable, especially if they are waiting to be thrown a fish or three.

    Sheila i am in a trance looking at your beach colour....how do you get it there ? Filters ?

    This shot looked very familiar. I like to think I have a very good visual memory. I could see it again....in all it's color in my head. I knew I sawthis on Pbase . I did a search for Australian Pelicans. Sure enough.....found your image...again. :D Very nice shot. It obviously is a memorable one. thumb.gif **grins knowing his memory is not failing in his old age........yet **
