This is one of the most photogenic lighthouses I have been to. I love the rockey cliff it sits on. It is also quite famous, meaning in the summer it can be quite crouded, in shot 1 there were about thirty people there and it was difficult to find an angle without people, or lots of people in it.
If you go in the winter it is colder but you can have your pick of angles and not have other people in your shots. The clouds in shot two produces wind and stingy ice pelets. I feel it was worth it however.
