I'm usually more into landscape photography but my friend ask me to take some photos of her daughter. This was my first attempt at portraits, some feed back would be great. Thanks!
Only two of the images are appearing here....but both are gorgeous. The color looks great, but the first looks a bit oversharpened.....adding some funky texture in the forehead area.
thanks for the feed back, i think that patch is the little bit of peach fuzz she has on her.
Baby skin tens to be a bit tranparent showing all the veins and blood vessels which appears in the first image. A bit of skin processing to take some of it out would be helpful. It's why you see so many black and whites of newborns.
That said - for first time portraits, the mother will be thrilled. You did well.
