I was in the SF area for the dgrin party, and had the absolute pleasure of having aktse (April) act as my tour guide and advisor. I also had the absolute pleasure of the company of Phyxius and Fourleggedphoto for the 4 days I was in town, as well as so many other great dgrinners. It was heaven.
However, I thought at the time that I was way off photographically and I am still not sure; but, I think I hit the jackpot on Sunday when we went to the aquarium.
Jelly fish are sooooo ephemeral and beautiful!!!

Hey there Ann, the Monteray Jellies are a sight to behold.
You really have to see them for yourself to take in their graceful movements as they move around the tank hu
April took me there too, I loved it, I'd never seen so many varieties of Jelly Fish in my life as is on display at the Monteray Aquarium.
You got some great shots Ann .... Skippy

Yeah, thats pretty amazing - light is from within the display. These shots are ISO 1600, f2.0 or 1.8, and a fairly slow shutter.
Thanks Dee, sorry I missed saying hi face to face at the party.
