Zurich Christkindlmarkt

Hi all, once again I don't seem to find a way to put this in one of the other forums! So here goes...

Visited the Zurich Christkindlmarkt (christmas market) in the main train station last night with a local photo group.

Ends up most of the photos I like were taken with my relatively new 50mm f1.8 "plastic fantastic" - 18-200 VR lens just seemed too soft...

Anyway hope you like them.

    That first one is sooooooo pretty, I love the shape of that Christmas tree and the stars in the background.

    Thanks :) it's a really pretty market but not so easy to get good shots i must say! lots of people, not much space to set up a tripod and no way to get elevated to get above the chaos... but i'm pretty happy with the results :)

    Thanks :) I have to admit it's a pretty beautiful tree - they have it there every year - alas no closeups as they didn't really work out - too many people and shooting through a protective barrier.
