Great shots, I really enjoyed them. Your first shot, Haxey, appears to have an upside down cross from where two planes have left trail. The lower trail is faint but it's there and it made the picture slightly eerie.

By the way, if you're even in Dunstable you should check out Priory Church, I think you might like it.
    Google Maps

#4 would be my favorite of these " Misterton". What seperates this from the other is there are no harsh shadows and your foreground image adds to the background as opposed to distracting and blocking the background like the shot with the lightpost.

The tilts in these images make my neck kind of ache and only in 4 do I feel the tilt adds to the image. Also the harsh light was not your friend in many of these. I think the harsh shadows distract and chop up your images. Adding a difussed fill flash on the one through the leaves could have kept the shadow from breaking up the image.

I too love photographing churches by the way!
Would love to hear from you on my blog, or website!

I can see why you love those old Churches Harry,
there is a lot of mighty fine architecture with those old buildings.

......what have you captured in the background of the first shot?
Looks like a rocket going straight up into the sky eek7.gif

Nice collection Harry, do they let you inside to capture the Leadlight windows.........funny I'm too scared to ask if I can go inside the one in town.

    Thanks for sharing thumb.gif .... Skippy :D
