I received my calendar today from MyCanvas.

I must say I am totally impressed. Very good quality and the user interface to build it is top notch. A+ recommendation on this product.

Now my rant against UPS. They charged me $19US brokerage fees. More than the calendar!

This is really becoming a scam in my opinion. They are getting the lions share of the profits on other businesses services. I will not be ordering again with any vendor that uses UPS. My SmugMug items arrived this week with no brokerage fees...

    I have a UPS daily account with discounted rates. I can tell you after using each of the ground shipping companies (DHL, FedEx and UPS), UPS is the most efficient and most cost effective as well as the one that gets the job done right. UPS is the only one that guarantees their ground shipment times. None of the others are willing to do that or stand behind their promises.

    However, that being said, most companies using UPS will usually double the shipping charge to the customer so they have a bit of profit in the shipping as well. That's why I always look at the shipped price when buying anything.
