Rookery Overload!
Hi all,
What a day! I had the opportunity to shoot with Trish, Harry, and Richard. All of them were shooting with Nikon dslr's, but none the less, I was welcomed even with my Lumix pea shooter. :roflI know I captured at least 300 images, and I was shooting conservative.:huh We finished the day with more conversation over a delicious meal! (Italian prepared grouper.... mmmm). What a friendly group of folks!
The rookery was incredible... I did not know where to start. Everywhere you looked, there were birds! My pictures reflect this also... absolutely no theme just random pics of what I observed. I hope you enjoy, and please feel free to critique- good or bad. Thanks for looking...

Outstanding shots, everyone of em. You did a fine job there.
It was a fine day. I enjoyed meeting you and it was great to hook up with Richard and Trish again. We shoot well, ate well, and enjoyed the fine company. It don't get much better than yesterday.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
your day, Rocks

Again, it was a real pleasure to share a great day! Hope we can do it again soon!
One downside to the Lumix...
With only one light cam to carry... you just can't help not being a Shirpa for Harry!
The group I shot with was great... and look forward to hopefully meeting with them again!:D

Thanks... Appreciate your sharing of this wonderful rookery. I would not have been able to capture this many shots in a lifetime of searching through marsh and wetlands. I'm glad you decided not to keep this a secret- and for that I am grateful.
Your right. "It don't get much better than yesterday." I look forward to more "yesterday's" with this group, and whoever else joins in for the fun!

To bad you're on the left coast, instead of the right coast. I'm sure it would be a blast "shootin" with you! Thanks for kind words!

You guys aren't stupid! I was droolin' the whole time over their equipment! Right now this cam fits my budget and needs, but boy I would love to shoot with the big guns! Thanks for havin' a look-see... and am glad you enjoyed!

Do you know what the name of the flat billed white bird is? This is the first time I've seen that one.
