Same image in multiple galleries without uploading twice?

I would like to have a particular image appear in two different galleries (which reside in different categories/sub-categories) without having to upload the same image twice...Is this possible? If so, how would I go about doing this?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks...

The only way to do it without uploading twice is to duplicate the image in your first gallery and then move the duplicate to the second gallery. Choose Make 2nd Copy, then choose move photos.

I just registered to ask this exact question, so I'm glad to hear there is something in the works.

I like to keep most of my galleries private and send links to friends and family, but I would like to place a subset of the photos in a second, public gallery without doing a copy-and-move for each one. Sometimes I also like to do a large gallery of travel pictures and then a smaller "highlights" gallery for those who don't have time to look at everything.

I second that...I have several galleries that I would like to serve as "highlights" but also want a parent gallery that will show all of the photos. Please release this feature soon :D

I just joined this forum for this specific question too. New user since yesterday - was very surprised to find out you can't do this. I've been using flickr for years, and there's a lot I don't like about it but one of my favorite things is cross-promoting pictures in different galleries and groups (flickr groups are comparable to communities on smugmug I guess). I also wish you could just post individual photos to a community without having to commit the whole gallery. The rest of the gallery isn't always relevant.
