Non english characters in category names such as ç ñ etc...

Hello there, I have a little annoyance with the impossibility to use foreign characters for the categories' names. I want to build a website in French-English-Spanish, but I can't either write Français or Español properly as categories. Is it possible to include these characters and all the others that are not supported? Thanks
