Custom Domain annoyance

Ok, this is rather minor, but it does bother me... I thought it was something I could get used to, but it's been a few years since I have a pro account, and it still bugs me.
Basically the problem is that a lot of links Smugmug displays points back to the non custom domain (e.g. abc.smugsmug.com) instead of the custom domain.
E.g., you create a new gallery, upload. When it finishes uploading, the page says you can click here to view the gallery... that 'click here' link points back to abc.smugmug.com
Can't Smugmug honored the Custom Domain feature thoroughly throughout?
Thanks. ws

One thing I had done to avoid this, although it was designed for that purpose - it just happened to work out that way, is that I have a custom drop down menu. I removed all the smugmug default links, etc. I just made sure all the links in my drop down menu bar pointed to my custom domain, and not the smugmug shortcut links. This way, all navigation is down from my drop down nav (other than the default forward, back, etc which DOES use your custom domain).
