and I meen he had to show me ,so this is a few to show you what it did and thanks Ed the shot does not reflect on Ed's teaching :rofl i do need to learn how to type and spell

But some curves would have helped (I know, I know... just saying..:-)
try Copy Layer (Ctrl+J), Change mode to Multiply, if it's too bad change opacity to 30..50%
Create adjustment layer: levels (make sure you got good black/white points)
Then if is still flat - adjustmet layer: curves, make a bit of S-curve.
Should be great image once you tweak it..
