Late afternoon capture on a day we'd been out just admiring the fall foliage and gorgeous scenery, highlighted by pockets of thunderstorms in northern New Mexico. Some days you just get lucky.

    If I hadn't lived in NM I would think this is a photochop, but I've been there and the sky is amazing. Very nice shot.

    Yes, it is an HDR image, from 7 exposures.

    Loud Al, I agree. If one didn't know first hand, southwestern skies can look fake. I'm finding HDR to be a great tool for digital landscapes, especially when it comes to sky.

    Can definetly see use of HDR and your interpretation is Awesome.
    You are right about HDR and landscape shots, am leaving CS3 raw
