Another series of fan shots in Appalachian State University's beautiful Holmes Center - what a great place to watch sports!

The new LED display sign before the game.

3-pointer - I can't remember if he made it

Solid rebound

Campbell's coach got a T - Donald Simms sunk both shots

Final Score - it was a really good game

Afterward, the Lady Mountaineer Basketball team took the court for some practice (I don't think the kid in the background has a full scholarship on the team yet...)

Mike, nice colors, looks like a fun place to shoot! Next time get down into those empty seats next to scorers bench...

    Thanks Tim.

Yes, its really great to shoot in. I can get 1/250 at F4 on ISO800 (which is really the limit for my Panasonic bridge camera) - the lighting is terrific.

I've been down on the floor before but my camera is contrast detect auto focus and I just cant get tight on D1 basketball because the action is too quick for my equipment - zone focus doesn't work for me at F4.
