Maybe try combing the the new one with the old one as far as subject matter goes?

Both [fiesta] shots are really fun, and I like what you're doing in the new one with implied diagonals and color, but simpler is better imo. (One thing I've been trying is to see how few elements I need to tell a story. 3 seems to be a magic number for me.) And definitely open up more of those Corona bottles - it's a party, right?
I was thinking something along the same lines, but possibly even have a bottle or two having less beer in it, like they've been drank a little (feel free to take that upon your self to drain the bottles, although it's still a bit early:-P).
I like the fiesta subject matter best. I'd just re-arrange some things, make the second one a little simpler like the first, but at the same time incorporating some of the extra "stuff" from #2 into #1.

I would almost say to remove the bowl from the original and replace it with the salsa and one chip. Then tilt your angle a bit.
Just some suggestions. I do like the beer and chips better than the others for the challenge though.

Here is the new one - Mexican 3
and here is the Fiesta
* I also shake the bottles to make more foam and I made a total mess:
I have to go and clean everything before my husband returns home

Anyways, I like the FOV in the first new shot, but like the less filled bottles and foam in the second. And also, maybe because the knife is there, take a chunk out of the whole lime to represent the peice laying behind it came from that, and maybe dicing up, or at least having some of the tomatoes cut up as well? The knife to me implies some cutting, and it's a strong point in the piece, but the only thing I see actually cut is the one peice of lime.
On a side note, I love that bowl. Is it SS?

I also like the idea of having the lime with the slice cutout... less foam in the beers btw.. it's giving me gas.
Oh... and not sure about the tomatos.

I cleaned up everything
I will have to stay with one of the 2 above... Maybe the first one - Mexican 3?
I know that photography requires sacrifice, but if it was in an appropriate environment...
PS: Actually mexicans always have knives... just in case ... kidding
No, they use to cut the lemon slices for the beer - I haven't seen them eating tomatoes
with beer and chips (totopos) - only salsa. I put the tomatoes there just for decoration - color

Yes, thank you very much for your comment I thought about this too, but I just didn't feel like
putting the chips directly on the table - they don't do this.
However, I tried it and it works, I think...
Chips & Salsa
Hmm... I may have to reposition somehow the light spot...

Uff... thank you Candid - I feel a little tired after those beers - hahaha
I did use the bracketing, so I have a version slightly darker with more contrast on the limes:
I will post this one

Aside from that, it's a great shot.
