I went back to the wetlands this morning and wore long pants and long sleeves and put on the aerogard to protect myself from the mozzies.. :rofl
I found some interesting insects. Here they are for your entertainment.
1. beetle
2. Some type of stink bug/shield bug i think.
3. These caterpillars were trapped inside a spherical'ish spider web.
4. I think these are native wasps ?
5. Hairy spider eating a beetle or actually putting it into the blender.

Not seen anything like #2 before- BTW #1 is a shieldbug.
Guess at #3 being sawfly caterpillars- they often build webby homes.
