Our Retro Christmas Tree - Outside View

Okay. Again, these are not the most artistic shots. But they are an outside view of our old aluminum tree with the color wheel at the base. This conjures up memories, I'm sure, for some of you.

    Love it! I never had an aluminum tree but most definitely had the color wheel!

    As artificial and dated as a 'tin' tree is...it gives your home a warm, rich feel; but then again it gives me those memories!

    Did you use a flash or is this the natural light?

    I turned off all of the outside lights. Turned off some of the inside lights, too. Then I just set up the tripod outside. Here's the shooting info:

    Nikon D300 w/Nikon 50mm (f1.8), ISO 200, f8, 2 secs, and tripod mounted.
