"Cecilia, you're breaking my heart"
Sorry couldn'd help it about the title...:rofl
It's been a while since I posted the tease from this shoot. Several shoots and a two-day trip to dgrin party threw a moneky wrench into my otherwise well-oiled post-processing schedule, so I'm still catching up from the middle of November. But at least I *am* catching up and here's the proof :-)
1. Meet Cecilia:
2. Can you say "purple"? ;-)
3. Or "gold"?
4. We also tried silhouette:
5. And another one, this time a bit on the orange side:
6. The we switched to red:
7. ... and white:
8. ... and blue:
9. Only to finish back with red:
10. And more red:
11. OK, I better stop:-)
Enjoy, C&C welcome!

Where did you find your red background in your last shots ? I love the color and pattern (let alone the width and length).

Oh and I agree with Clemens. He posed that as I was posting mine.

The last one is actually easy. It's a queen bed kit, two sheets and two pillowcases. They were on some sale for like $9.99/ea, so I got seven different ones, including tiger and leopard patterns. I got all the flat ones hanging on a small backdrop rack, so they are alway there when I need them. And the shaped ones go to the loveseat. It takes like a minute or less to go from one look to any other.
#4 (love the light),
# 6 (love the pose),
# 9 & 10 (what an attitude!)
.... only a bit skeptical about #11 - I think I would fix her lines under her eyes, ... actually I have a feeling you turned the photo around 180 degrees ... I think I prefer the original "position".
Fun set though!! ... doesn't she look like Katie Holmes?? ... do you have anything to tell us, Nik??

Thanks, Angie!
I had a hard time selecting pictures for this post. Cecilia played along very well and she's a ball of fun, so we got a large variety of looks even within the same lighting setup and outfit.
Same goes about #11. I have all four versions (rotated at 0, 90, 180 and 270), but this one (180) looked less traditional. I'm still thinking of making a triptych out of them..

Ann, I agree, she is quite versatile. Of course, it's also our responsibility as the photographers/directors to request those changes. For some (usually more experienced) models it comes pretty effortless, some require a lot of work, and some are, unfortunately, incorrigible... With Cece I got lucky to get the first type:-)
Thank you for looking and commenting!
And guess what - we got morning frost yesterday and rain today!

Really nice model, personality and some fun expressions. Some really fun ideas on the poses..good stuff.
I am sort of noticing a recurring theme in the lighting is that the face is sometimes under lit compared to the rest of the body.
Just trying to be constructive.

You know it is the simplist things that elude a persons common some times - it didn't even cross my mind to use bed sheets.<img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/rolleyes1.gif" border="0" alt="" > <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
