How to "Hide Image" in Lightroom2

I'm new to LR2 but in Elements I could right click and hide a photo then when I wanted I could show the hidden photos.

Can I do this in LR2?

I don't make a practice of taking nude photos but it tends to happen at Jimmy Buffett events so I have to hide them so my children don't happen upon them :-)

The early betas had a hide function. Went two years ago. Best you can do is seperate catalog or a filter and hope the kids don't catch on.

I agree with Don's suggestion. Put the images in question in a separate catalog. You could use a filter that wouldn't display them, but filters are easy to turn off.

I 'hide' photos too, but just because they are crappy photos :D I set them as rejects (X) and I set all the filters to show picks and unflagged. It's definitely not fool-proof, but it could work, provided you don't use the rejects for something else already.

Thanks and it's good to know there's no "Hide" feature and yes I'll create another catalog with a separate folder away from my main photos so wandering eyes don't find them! mwink.gif
