Slow Search

Lately searching my albums has been really slow. Searches yesterday were taking about 30 seconds or more to complete. Try going to:

http://camerarenter.smugmug.com/

and using the search box in the upper right hand corner to search for "Wedding."

Is there anything that I can do to speed things up?

    This is a known problem. I have experienced this too, and reported it to the support heros, who have confirmed it. In my testing, I found that searching my collection was painfully slow when I was logged in, but plenty fast if I searched my collection while being logged out. Try that and see if you get the same results.

    They just did a bunch of fixes and upgrades last night. I was hoping this would have been resolved as part of it but I tested it again this morning and apparently not.

    hrm, any update on this? We have posts in 2008, jumping to last month. But I certainly don't remember search being this slow before (like, a minute). I can't search logged out because I'm searching through a bunch of private photos, which far exceed my public ones. Not sure if that would have an effect (logged out is faster for stuff I know I have public).

    However, clicking on keywords instantly shows all the photos w/ those keywords.
