BB: Someday I need to learn how to use a flash...
...but I haven't even had a chance to really read the great posts lately on using a flash in a gym. So, I just took these at my daughter's rec. league game with available light in an elementary school gym--using a 70-200 f2.8. Here's some of what I got:
In case the light issues were too easy, the gym has about 2 feet between the sideline and the wall where parents can watch--so clean backgrounds are almost impossible...
Oh well--it was nice to be shooting anyway:D

Ignorance is no excuss, so lets DGrin!
I wish the gyms that I've been shooting in had that much available light; even so, I still shoot all of my basketball without the aid of a flash.
