Went back to this old Mission built in 1776 when California was a Spanish Colony. There were many missions for missionary work and to provide shelter for travelers moving up and down the street. The church was destroyed by an earthquake but the rest of the mission remains. Where the missionaries and the natives lived and worked.
Overwhelming theme are arches and columns and textures provided by the bricks used to build the mission. There are two fountains with two courtyard gardens as well.
Low winter light made for pretty interesting lighting.
1. Back courtyard fountain.
2. Mission bells with fall foliage.
3. One of many hallways and columns.
4. Columns, columns, columns...
5. Bench
6. Hallway, vines.
7. More vines.
8. A different bench with flare. Sorry, I'm into flares.
9. Columns by the garden area.
Whole gallery is here.

Looks like no.3 if popular. Funny, when I first looked at the image on the computer, I almost didn't process it. I guess the long shadows do add something.
I like your interpretation of this mission. Especially the view across the fountain.
