This is it, folks - the one you have all been waiting for :barb What do you think is, the Dgrin Photo Of The Year 2008?!

It's easy. Send an email to photooftheyear@email.smugmug.com, with 2008 in the subject line. Attach the photo and in the body of the email write your name and the name of the Dgrinner that took the shot. More help on email uploading, here. Please, only one entry per Dgrinner. The photo may be yours, or someone else's, provided that:
  • It was taken in 2008.
  • It was shared on Digital Grin. This includes all forums, including the challenges.

Example:

Submissions must be received before January 14, 2009, California time.

Every Dgrinner is eligible, including the moderators. The photos will be posted in this gallery. Please note that all entries will be posted in the before-mentioned gallery, and may be re-shared on Dgrin. Voting will be in two rounds. First on all photos, then a finalist round for the top 10. Rules can be added or amended at any time by me, or any of the moderators.



The winner will receive bragging rights; Wouldn't you want to be part of this very exclusive group?

    No, you may nominate someone else's pic if you like. The shot has to have been taken in 2008 and have been shared on Dgrin.

    when you cursor over the picture, photo info pops up and click there for info....

    if it was shared?, well if you like something well enough to contact the owner then they could tell you i guess...

    I obviously love that image...ITS PRICELESS image...Not only that wildlife photography is hardest photography but image is flowless...

    I even have that image as my pick image on my site...
    Photograher of that image should be very very proud...and i am sure he is..

    I'm glad I re-read the instructions, cuz I totally didn't put the correct subject title in when I sent it the first time... take 2 :) Hopefully all's good now.

    I am wondering what happen to those 4 photos displayed in Dgrin photo of the year ...I only see one right now ....it was 4 yesterday...

    Or where can we view those photos that are submited....

    There never were 4.

    I'm going to look at new submissions and move a few over though, so standby!

    Email 2008 photo something

    It didnt make sence to me at all that folder but my photo was there among 4....Is okay no worries....

    Not sure how you got there, but you shouldn't be there in the first place :D that's just the account I use for uploading.
