I prefer the sky in #1 and the foreground rocks in #2. #3 seems to have the best attributes of 1 & 2 and is my overall favourite.

(My real name is John but Jack'll do)
PS I think I like #1 best

HDR? High Dynamic Range I know this. But what does it mean? Layer mask merge? photomatix? How do you use it? When would you use it? Why would you use it? can CS3 do it? Do you need a plug-in? Every question you can think of...

a huge difference from processing just one image - 3 to 5 times @ different
exposures in raw and then on to photomatix...
Enjoy

i prefer #1 for it's contrast but I think you might get an interesting color balance between to two

They all look good to me Phil but if I had to choose I would probably say No 1 and 3. Believe me there is nothing in it.

The first one looks the most natural.
#3 is a close second however.
I feel your presence...

votes - #1 7
#2 0
#3 5
merge both 1
my vote is #1 my fav. #2 pretty close but is actually a lot sharper!
#3 dont like, or rather doesnt look as close to what i saw,
think need to only use HDR when more than 3 frames needed to get enough exposure range , as in next post of waterfall.
