What a tiger!
There are so many truly spectacular wildlife photos in this forum from serious pros and amateurs alike, I hesitate to even post here...but I'm gonna do it anyway! Ok, not really "wild" life. It's a municipal zoo setting in the small coastal town of Ayamonte, Spain., where we visited while traveling last month.
With my camera pressed against the cleanest piece of real estate I could find on the "safe side" the plexiglass viewing window, I was fortunate enough to see Mr. Tiger clumsily attempt an amorous advance on his mate. Mrs. Tiger rebuffed him and walked off in disgust.
In a word, Mr. Tiger was pissed! He was only about 12 feet from the window. I think he heard my camera bump against the plexiglass, and immediately shared his displeasure! (And I got a small taste of what real wildlife photographers must feel when they get some of the captures I've seen elsewhere in this forum!).

Thanks Bob,
Mostly dumb luck, really. I had enough time to focus manually just before the male tiger decided to take a pass at his girlfriend. Fortunately, he didn't change position much after she dumped him.
I looked at several of your galleries... beautiful and inspiring to a thumb-cruncher like myself. Papa
I have shot thru glass and cleaned it up. I would sure clean up that one

I'm sure you are correct...the problem I have with the concept is that it's over my skill grade....and to have someone else do it would be over my pay grade. I'm comfortable enough with red-eye correction, simple exposure adjustements, and cropping....but wouldn't have a clue how to "clean-up" plexiglass (other than with Windex)!
