It's a big flat next to El Mirage airport in Mojave. I'm wandering if it's a real salt flat or just dirt, or what? Aerial pictures do not tell...:dunno

It is dirt. If it is windy the fine dirt gets blown around pretty easily though. The only speed limit is near the campgrounds, so be on the watch for motorcycles and atv's.
