Interesting quote... Plagarism??

I keep seeing THIS quote:

I look at most things in life as through a viewfinder, looking to capture the beauty of whatever has caught my eye.

on lots and lots of sites. It wouldn't be such a big deal if it was just that one sentence, but, there's whole paragraphs that follow it that's the same.... Can someone tell me WHY?

For the most part people copy what they like. To be original you have to be like everyone else.
The quote itself appears to be loosely based on lines in the movie "Rear Window".
It is obscure enough that most people will not recognize it, yet sounds really nice.
Keep in mind that most of the quote, unquote original quotes are not original to the person we believe them to be.
