Ok..since it seems that no one wants to write in the 15 album...I will repost my image here and you all can blast away with some c and c. I would like to know if this image has enough awww factor for the comp?
Or should I try something different.

Ok...I would like to change my entry but the gallery will not let me replace the image.:dunno So I think I read somewhere I have to PM someone. IN the meantime...I did a reshoot and here is my new (soon to be) entry....any better??

I think this is a beautiful shot, but it isn't showing any kind of relationship to me. You can stretch it to assume it's a relative of the photographer, but it still has no real story to it. Totally a wall hanger though and something you should be proud of!

Ok...I went and reread the comp and yes you are right ...even though she looks just like me....I need to show more of a connection. Thanks for playing Emily!!
I agree with the "story" part. Right now it's a lovely portrait but for this challenge you'd need to provide some more context in order to be a contender.
Just a tip: her eye color looks a little dark. There was a thread on DGrin that talked about "eye pop". I've experimented with it in some of my photos and it's yielded some pleasing results. Here's the thread that discusses it (you have to scroll down a bit to find it):

That is so sweet! You really captured the joy and connection of a shared secret. I like that their breath is visible too...really accentuates the cold.
Thanks Paul. They are both so excited as Christmas break has started and lil ones BestFriend is staying over for the whole weekend! They are so giggly all the time! Wasn't hard to capture!:D
