E-Mail Marketing with Constant Contact?

Is anyone utilizing e-mail marketing from Constant Contact? Here's their pricing structure: http://www.constantcontact.com/pricing/index.jsp

I don't think it'd be too hard to copy/paste all my client emails and have a $15/mo <500 email campaign setup pretty easily.

Of course, you have to be careful about sending too many (ala pictage) or they'll delete them without even reading them. But the easy html and personalization of CC seems to be pretty attractive.

Thoughts?

Cool, I wonder if they would be interested in putting together some sort of group discount for smugmuggers? Surely it would pay off for them to have a discount offered to thousands of photographers?

i use mail chimp for my email marketing. i researched constant contact and mail chimp and another (cant remember the name). constant contact and mail chimp have similar tools and capabilities. i chose mail chimp cause they were not spending millions on annoying radio advertising to promote themselves. i wanted a company who would spend millions on themselves to make the product better for the user.

I have used CC for quite a while. I started using them as a mortgage broker. I am now setting up an account for my photography company. Can't really go wrong at the prices they offer. Support is good as well

Very interesting. I have never heard of this service. Beats writing all those marketing emails "by hand." Thanks for the link!! Agree, a discount for Smuggers would rock!!

I use Campaign Monitor at work and it seems to be more flexibly priced. Pay on use, not by the month. Before that I was using Microsoft Word and an Excel file to do a mail merge to e-mail and it worked fine but once we crossed 500 people it was better to do an outside solution.
