Like many, I was disturbed by the lack of a pdf file utility in cs4, which was in cs3 under automate. John Nack had a workaround, using, as I recall, a utility in Bridge. Well, quite by accident, I discovered in the default ps actions in cs4 an action that replicates what I used to do in cs3 (and was doing in cs3 whenever I needed a pdf-file image for an image that I processed in cs4).

Not so much a work round as a transfer of features from Photoshop to Bridge and in some cases dropping a feature from the product altogether (extract for example). Nevertheless, all the features in question can be recovered as they are available in the 'goodies' section of the CD (or is it DVD?) or by downloading them from the Adobe website.
