Can any dgrinners share some good locations to do some family/kid portraits or candid shots in the los angeles area with good natural lighting? Preferably on the west side of LA. But I'm open to all suggestions.

Thank you.

You can also try Point Dume, right near Zuma. Very popular for photographs and probably the beach in the most movies and commercials.

The Palos Verdes peninsula/Rolling Hills Estates area gives you a great view of LA from the south.

Smog permitting, of course (Santa Ana Winds sometimes helps there).
