I sat by the side of the road, yesterday, Saturday. The osprey nest is there way up high on a platform. I was waiting for the male to show up with food for the female, so I could get a Drama shot, since I still do not see babies....
This is what I saw from about 7:00 in the evening til 8:30. I am guessing, about an hour by the side of the road, just a road. It goes to the bridge to the Isle Of Palms, but where I was, it is just a road with cars going about 60 MPH. There is enough grass on the side to pull off, a ditch, then a housing development past that.
So, By The Side Of The Road:
The male osprey never did come by, but this is what I saw and recorded with my camera while I was waiting. Including the moon, the berries and the cardinal in a tree.
