1st Post- Kaaterskill Falls 2008

Hello everybody, I just found this site through a comment on 1 of my Smugmug photos

There is some incredible work and talented people over here and I certainly plan on diving in!

I just finished editing this photo of Kaatterskill Falls. I wanted a High res version of this for large prints, so it's actually a Pano made up of 4 images. I used 3 exposure's for each frame and then Photomatix to do the HDR processing. After that i used AutoPano Pro to stitch them. After that PS CS4 for the rest of the work.

Very nicely done the HDR is not overdone which is nice to see. If anything my picking would be the branches coming into the frame from the side are kind of distracting to me.

Here is 1 from the top of the falls I just re-did. It was first thing in the morning when I took this, so the light is kinda blaa'ish
