Hello!
I'm looking for opinions on a banner for my site. I am redesigning my site (Christmas break from work & too much time on my hands! :D). I want to change my banner a bit, but I'm not sure about it. My current logo has my business name & a frog logo. Frogs really don't have anything to do with photography or what I do, I just like them!

The new banner I designed is words only, with the "KK" as kind of a focus.

I'm really undecided. I tried listing what I like & don't like about each, but they came up pretty even. :dunno I even resorted to asking my husband, who was NO help. Can anyone help me make a decision?

    Hi,

I actually like your "old" logo. My only problem is the colors. They are hard on the eyes when looking on screen. (Maybe I just need an eye checkup). ;)

Perhaps you should add a drop shadow and try to make the logo "pop". I like the emphasis on "photography" on the second logo though. That font looks good. Perhaps a combo of the two.

These are just my thoughts and I am no expert.

Thanks for the reply! I should have mentioned that, a lot of the time, my banner is on black. I redesigned it though, trying to combine the two & darkening the colors a bit. I liked the frog as an outline rather than full. Is it too busy with both the "kk" and the frog? I added a slight drop shadow to the font but it looked weird on the frog. Thanks again!

How about you move the frog part in the center of the written logo? Alternatively, how about this way:
